Wind power proves to be a WISE choice in India

Cleaner Climate is proud to announce that the wind farm at the World Institute of Sustainable Energy (WISE) in the Indian state of Karnataka is operational.

The project included the development, design, engineering, procurement, construction, operation and maintenance of 1.2 MW of renewable power to the Karnataka state electricity grid. This project displaces over 25,000 tonnes of CO2 over the project’s life and ultimately leads to the sustainable economic and environmental development in this region.

The project adheres to the strict methodologies of the Kyoto Protocol’s Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). See our Project  page.
